It’s been a week that the craziest snowfall and blizzards have hit us in a long time. Just like a freerider’s dream coming true day after day. This morning, another 50cm of fresh powder had fallen on our mountains for a rare day of riding.

It's been 2 years now that Hefti Sports has created a small freeski team to support local riders. We selected 4 athletes who have been demonstrating their skills in the snowpark and local mountain. Jimmy Schuler, Yannick Guillermin, Dylan Forde and Alexia Bonelli are also part of a film crew called "NewReal Production" and released their latest production; "Welcome to the Fairyhill", this past fall.
It has snowed a fair amount these past weeks in Leysin and Les Mosses and skiing has rarely been so good this early in the season. This winter is already looking perfect and should put smiles on everyone's faces. Not only are we thankful for the snow, but we are thankful to all of our loyal clients that keep on supporting and visiting our shops. It is a joy for us to serve you in the best possible manner with quality products and services.
The Leysin – Les Mosses – La Lécherette ski area will be opening its doors this coming weekend, starting December 15th 2012. From the 15th until the 21st, a limited amount of lifts and runs will be open.
Winter is slowly arriving and with it a few nice storms that have covered our summits with fresh snow. With the opening of the "Glacier 3000" ski area, located 20 minutes away from Leysin, we thought we would tour to the Diablerets Summit (3210m) for a season first. The conditions were magical above an impressive sea of clouds.
