Best Conditons Ever!

It’s been a week that the craziest snowfall and blizzards have hit us in a long time. Just like a freerider’s dream coming true day after day. This morning, another 50cm of fresh powder had fallen on our mountains for a rare day of riding.

Snow Up 2013

On Sunday, February 3rd 2013, the first ever "Snow-Up" will take place in Leysin and Les Mosses. What is a "Snow-Up"? It is a similar event to a "Slow-Up" which aims at setting up a walking, hiking or snow-shoeing course closed to all motorized vehicles and inserting various activities along the way.

Ski Slopes Opening!

The Leysin – Les Mosses – La Lécherette ski area will be opening its doors this coming weekend, starting December 15th 2012. From the 15th until the 21st, a limited amount of lifts and runs will be open.

Second Hand Downhill Bikes

Hefti Sports is currently selling a few of its downhill rental bikes at sweet prices. Two models are avaible from the Norco brand. The Dirt Scoot activity offered by our shop is open to all people wanting to have a blast in the mountains of Leysin. The Dirt Scoot is a big size scooter equipped with big, low pressure tires which allows you to overcome most terrain. After 15 days of perfect weather and high temperatures, Leysin woke up this morning with 40 cm of fresh powder (19-03-2012). It’s during the month of March that we can get heavy snowfall for 24 hours which allows us to get some sweet powder days.

The trick is to wake up early in order to catch the light snow before it gets heavy.
