Many of you have probably wondered one day how a snowboard or a pair of skis are made. Many still believe that machines do most of the work when in reality much of it is still done by hand. On the following video, we visit the Burton Factory in Vermont and see the steps and amount of work that it takes to make these wonderful pieces of art. Enjoy!

3 new webcams have been setup in the resort of Leysin. One gives you a panoramic view of the Lac Léman from the Berneuse summit, the second is located in the snowpark and will give riders a good view of the halfpipe. Finally, the last one is located at the summit of the Chaux-de-Mont chairlift and gives you a magnificent view of the ski runs. Check them out below...




Mammut has just released its new software update for the Barrivox Pulse Avalanche beacon transceiver. This new firmware is easily uploaded on your current Pulse beacon and can instantly be used. It's confirmed! The ski slopes will be open this coming weekend, December 5th and 6th. The open runs will primarily be Berneuse as well as the babylift at the summit. Price wise, CHF 30.- will allow you to ride the whole day or CHF 25.- for the half day. Furthermore, our rental shop is ready to welcome you for any season or daily ski hire you may need.
