Powder runs with the staff

It's pretty neat how our genuine Swiss Weather Prophet predicted this much snow this season. It has snowed another 50 cm on the mountain top in the last 3 days which gives us nearly 3 meters of packed snow on the mountain top. The February vacations are looking nearly perfect with every ski slope open and great conditions.

Over a meter of snow!

It has snowed more in the past 3 days than the whole of last season. The current situation is incredible and we may be reaching nearly two meters of fresh snow in our part of Switzerland. The lifts were able to partially open today in Leysin and mostly in les Mosses. Skiers and snowboarders were able to experience some epic riding!!!

This time, winter has arrived! It has been snowing non-stop above 1500 meters and on and off in the the village of Leysin. The accumulation of snow above 1500 meters is important and the conditions are reaching perfection. On June 20th 2011, a few members of the Hefti Team went out for a downhill biking session and took some pictures for you to enjoy. Although the park is still being setup for the summer, most runs and sections are ridable with a nice set of kicks, drops, north shores & berms.
